Lima 9mm CD Replacement Motor Kit

Fitted one of these kits to my old Lima Deltic and the improved performance is great. Nice steady pull away all the "Stop - Go" pull aways have gone and now performs much better overall. Didn't fit voltage dropper at first but realised I needed to when my 4 year old grandson gave it a couple of laps at warp 9 lol. This is a really excellent product. I have three Lima models, all upgraded with this easy to fit motor. The first motor took me 40 minutes to fit, and the second and third less than 20 minutes each. The models run so much quieter, faster, and draw far less power. This is a simple inexpensive upgrade bringing old models back to life and running better than new. Awesome way of bringing old locos up to the modern day spec, easy to retrofit, runs smoothly and doesn't put too much load on the decoder unlike the old ring field motors did , takes about 15 mins to install mathew kelly (12 Jan 2024, 16:57)
